Here’s how to cook Lemon Pepper Steak Stir Fry Recipe:
I used two pans to cook this stir fry because of the amount of veggies I put in.
We are on a healthy eating plan. The goal is to get as many colors as possible in one meal. The best part is that stir frys are an easy way to do this. I always sneak in a new veggie and the kids eat it by accident and then end up loving it.
In the first pan place the olive oil on medium heat. Then go ahead and quarter the bok choy lengthwise and give it a really, really good wash. There’s always dirt embedded deep between the base of the leaves and you do not want to eat that.
Place in one layer in a large saucepan or lidded frying pan. Add in one cup of water and bring to a boil, cover and turn the heat down to medium. Simmer for 6 minutes.
Take the lid off, turn the bok choy over using tongs and cover again. Simmer for further 6 minutes. Keep an eye on this to make sure it doesn’t burn. While you are cooking the bok choy you can cook the remainder of the ingredients.
I place the onions , olive oil, and garlic in first. I start to brown the onions while I am cutting up the rest of the veggies with my cutco knives.
Then you will cook the stir fry until the veggies are to your liking and the steak it to the desired status. I add in the lemon and the lemon pepper to taste I like mine medium well. I find I can make this dish in 15 minutes and my kids love it. I put it over rice or rice noodles.
We serve this with a little soy sauce on the side.
