Crockpot Mac and Cheese

Crockpot Mac and Cheese

mac and cheese

The story behind this recipe is one young mac who loves Mac and Cheese. You see my son just loves it. He also wants to learn to cook. I decided the safest way for him to cook is using the crockpot. What I didn’t know is you could easily freeze this meal so making multiple and placing them in the freezer makes this a great crockpot freezer meal. The other thing that is great about this recipe is it is simple and requires very little time. The best part is my son made it and all the kids eat it. It is a great side and a super main course. This could be your party staple this summer or the comfort meal you crave in the fall.

Cream cheese is in the pictures but is not listed in the actual recipe.
How much cream cheese should be used?

Stopping by from the Busy Monday party, thanks for sharing! I love that making mac and cheese can be so simple in the crockpot. I can’t believe I haven’t tried this yet!

My husband does most of the cooking so I don’t check out many food posts but this looks awesome. So awesome I repinned it in hopes that maybe on one of my cooking nights I’ll attempt it instead of plain old spaghetti.

Is the slow cooker set on high or low for that amount of cooking time? Looks so good, but don’t want to mess it up.
