I love healthy stuffed peppers. The story behind this recipe is I was hired on my site www.madamedeals.com to come up with a recipe using Jimmy Dean sausage crumbles. I did. It is called healthy stuffed peppers . You can click on the blue link to see! It was so good I headed back into the kitchen and created another easy to follow recipe.
This is what you will need to create this recipe:
Healthy Stuffed Bell Peppers
rice and beans I used caribbean flavor
Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles
You will need to cut the pepper and remove the seeds.
Then you will need to place the rice and bean in the bottom. I gave it several healthy scoops for my healthy stuffed bell peppers
Then you will add in some of the Salsa
A tiny bit of garlic. Then I cooked them in the oven at 400 for 20-25 minutes. I put water in the dish around 1/2 up the dish and placed them in the oven .
Finally I added the cheese and let that melt it took around 5 minutes. Then you eat them and they sure are awesome!
